Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
CallMum is built on a simple principle: your personal information belongs to you, not us. This policy explains what data the app and website use, and why. We've written it in plain English on purpose — if something isn't clear, email us and we'll explain it.
The App
Everything stays on your phone. Everything the app does happens on your device. Your contacts, call history, and reminder settings are stored locally and never leave your phone. We don't have servers. We don't collect analytics. We don't know who you are, who you're calling, or how often you use the app.
Permissions the app asks for:
Third-party services. The app uses Google's WorkManager and AlarmManager for scheduling reminders. These are standard Android system services built into your phone — no data is sent to Google through our use of them.
The Website and Email List
If you've signed up to hear about the app launch, your email address is stored with Flodesk, the email platform we use. We'll use it to let you know when the app launches, and to send occasional updates if you opt in to those. We will never sell your email address or share it with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
The website itself doesn't use cookies or tracking of any kind.
Feedback Forum
If you create an account on our feedback site (callmum.featurebase.app), that account is managed by Featurebase. Their privacy policy covers how they handle that data — we only see the feedback and feature requests you choose to submit.
Changes to This Policy
If anything here changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top. If you have questions, reach us at [email protected].
